I wish that I could draw.
But alas, all I have are words.
So I script a box-spring sky
and dust-bunny clouds
over a printed campfire
and letter marshmallows on skewers.
I scrawl out tiny monsters eating s’mores
and punctuate with chocolate dribbles.
I wish I could draw…
Awww~~ That’s really nice ^^
I really love this poem. Your words are drawing a picture in my head. This piece gives off a very whimsical feel. As though everything, from the clouds to the marshmallows are alive – little creatures of their own – and they’re all watching the campfire party.
