Stop the World, I wanna get off! *_*

Pay bills, go shopping, cut up dear meat, cook beans, start dinner, finish insurance paperwork, finish insurance enrollment forms… eeek!

And at some point get some rest…

Sleep is not a common commodity for me at this point.  Thank goodness the family is heading to the parents house for the week end.  The kids are out of school the whole week, and I’m off for most of it.  And hubby will be home too, so I hope to get a lot done.

The manga scanlation group that I participate in can also use my help, so, I hope to at least get some things done in photoshop.  Its a great way for me to unwind because I get to exercise my meticulous patience.  No rush, no hurry, just perfection (or at least as close to it as my meager skills can get it).

We will not be spending Thanksgiving at my parents’ house.  This is a first.  We have always spent the holidays there, and we will spend Christmas with them.  Eventually, we may even have them here for the big feast.  There is usually sooooo much work involved in the making of the meal that I think it may be getting to be too much for just one person to deal with.  I have older children that will help me, but when we are at Mom’s, they don’t usually do anything.  So, my sons will learn the fine art of turkey roasting.  I am making sure the men I raise will be able to cook for their beaus… nothing quite like a guy cooking dinner for you…  The girls will love them. 😀

Well I had better get packed…

Hmmm

Ok.  I hve this really cool website www.rainydayplans.com.  I created it to learn how to make sites.  And now that I have this awesome website, I have absolutely no ideas for content.  The suggestion box is now open.  I already have this blog, soooo, not really sure what to do with a very powerful joomla cms.  I really like the site though…  Ahh well.  I’ll figure out something eventually.

Friday Fun

Well

Spent today with the hubby.  First we went to take care of some very frustrating medical stuff.  After much huffing and puffing and trying to blow each other down, we finally settled on getting lunch.  But not before making a detour to Home Depot.  Found some things there they didn’t have the last time and found out some of the stuff we need they won’t have for a while.  Also found out we need a lot more money to do what we really want to do.  Like we didn’t know that already…

Went to eat lunch and sat outside to watch the town go by.  Not too bad really, although someone ought to create a licensing department for stretch pants and shorts.  Really people, you should be able to look in the mirror and just know that you shouldn’t wear that in public.  Spare our eyes, please.

After that we went grocery shopping and I spent 3 hours trying not to run over the poor man.  he can’t turn his head to see in any direction other than straight ahead, so avoiding him at the same time as everyone else was an adventure in cart control.

So just waiting for the kids to get home, two of which should have been here 20 mins ago…

Yay! The Week end!

It’s finally Friday.  Hope to get some things finished up.  Would like to take the family out to the First Friday of the month celebration down town.  Should be fun.  We need the stress relief and it will be a while before we can do it again.

Work was dead.  And going to get deader.  Especially after the Thanksgiving holidays.  The boys have the whole week off and I will have a good portion of it off, so we will get much done around the house, assuming I haven’t found a 2nd job by then. Urg…

School is going well for the hubby, and being on medical leave, he is able to study more.  Stress keeps him from being able to concentrate well, but tonight’s activities should help.  There is a blues band playing live and we both enjoy that type of music very much.

Nothing funny today… other than i couldn’t find my coat when I left for work last night.  So when I got home this morning and no one was here I thought I was locked out.  Should have checked the door before spending an hour in the car waiting for the hubby to come home…
